Workshop Area for Sacred Earth

So, I am bringing the educamation into Sacred Earth again. I have lots of great ideas for things to do but wanted to reach out to the community for anyone who is interested in leading a workshop or helping out. 2 things I am pretty firm on I want to do will be my traditional free school/potluck to start it off and a big one that will be lots of fun will be an art deco session where we will all create deco for the Saturday night festivities!!! I am looking for artists to help with that to teach deco things, inspire people's creativity, and be general co-leaders to aide all! Has potential to be amazing!!  We can also use extra art supplies as this is really community driven and there is no budget. I am not part of Chilluminati but feel passionitely in having workshops at events so am stepping up to make them happen in this do-acracy we got goan on here.

But yeah, drop me a pm or reply if you want to assist or lead a workshop! Some things I am looking for is someone to lead a yoga/movement one and spiritual speakers about things.

i have some UV paints.  some accrylic, some others, and some spray paint  also some poster sized UV Paper......  and some UV Clay.......

im planning on bring those so any one with ideas.......

i don't know about anyone else, but i've recently been very interested in the symbolism of hindu deities, & different interpretations of that symbolism. if anybody has any information on this, i'd love to see a workshop on it... the first that comes to mind for a psytrance event is shiva (the androgenous cosmic dancer).

Well, we will be doing Free School which is a spot for anyone to have the center speaker spot for a few minutes to talk about whatever they want - some subject , a demo, a short debate, whatever! So can bring up that for sure then!

I'd like to participate this year... id like to prepare a quick workshop, mainly a question and answer lecture session, where i bring up various mind-blowing biological facts from my data base, about the body and mind, and what the knowledge has taught me about myself and this Universe. I want to explain and help other people to understand these concepts and apply them to their lives. The goal is self empowerment through relevant scientific knowledge.

This will be easy for me to prepare, just preparing facts, an explanation of them, and possible answers to questions, so assuming i commit to this, do i need to talk to anyone other than you (Jeff Z) to get in on these workshops? Are you organizing all of them, meaning, creating the workshop line up? or are you just organizing you workshop?

Just curious, im expsyted to contribute!

Example Fact: We have 1 x 10^14 (100,000,000,000,000) cells in our body. Each one of these cells has its own nutritional requirements and chemical needs. New cells only come from the division of preexisting cells, which replaces cells that die.

Within 7 years, enough cell division has occurred to totally renew the body. We still feel the same, as one person, when in reality, we are a conglomeration of new material, constantly being disassembled and reassembled. We are never the same person, not even for a moment. Even your finger nails and hair are constantly growing and falling out, never taking a break.  We are far more than one solid object traveling through space and time. We are highly interconnected, amazingly intricate, unimaginably complex organisms.

Yep, I am organizing the line-up and everything. Sounds great Abe and thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. The key, to me, is that we all know pieces of the puzzle and working together we can complete it! I am going to look into the guided meditation thing and see if I can find some good information as I would love to share it and since I brought it up, I might as well do it .  I will let you know if I have something prepared soon Jeff.


Abe- first time I heard that fact I was completely blown away.  I think you would like this scientific book I have on teleportation, titled "Teleportation: The Impossible Leap".  It discusses it from a scientific standpoint, but also brings up relevant thoughts such as, is the teleported person still actually you, as well as questions on transportation of the "soul".  The first 40 some pages deal with light's wave-particle duality, entanglement and the double slit experiment.
